TAROT CARD READING

What is Tarot?

Tarot is a deck of cards with culturally derived meanings that you can use for spirituality, art, and storytelling reasons. A traditional tarot deck consists of 78 cards, which can be split into two groups, the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana (greater secrets) consists of 22 cards without suits while The Minor Arcana (lesser secrets) consists of 56 cards, divided into four suits of 14 cards each.

Tarot card reading is a form of cartomancy whereby practitioners use tarot cards to purportedly gain insight into the past, present or future. They formulate a question, then draw cards to interpret them for this end. The aim of a tarot reading is to explore a question about the self. You pick cards to help you reflect on possible answers, interpreting the meaning of each in relation to what you asked. Keep in mind that tarot cards are tools for introspection, and for that reason it's best to keep questions open-ended.

It can help you identify the barriers keeping you stuck, the limiting beliefs holding you back, and the actions you need to take to move forward. Tarot helps you open your mind to new possibilities, increases your creativity, and can provide validation that you're on the right path.
